容祖兒-很忙 ; Joey Yung - Very Busy

Just in few months time, she has a mandarin album for us. What i can reckon is, this year she gonna be pretty busy. 2 albums in a row, concert in Oct, and heard the box set which out in town during Sept, but seems like the news has vanished. Anyway, hope she will have the box set, in order to have complete albums of her's.

What i can say for this latest mandarin album, i found the melody, songs stick in far more better than the previous 小小 album. In this album, 這就是愛嗎? the song which my speaker couldn't stop from playing it. First time hearing, the tune some how catchy as i found it would be my first love in the next moment. Oh yea... the song does it. Just few play, i could actually sing the song. tat's real awesome. Of cz have to thanks to JJ too, composing such a brilliant melody.

Slow Dance, the bass behind + the relaxing singing, make the song far more than a song. This song easily for Joey to catch up the beats, eventually a choice of mine too.

答案, the smoothness of the melody basically similar to most tangy ballad. In my opinion, Joey sings good through this song. I personally quite enjoy the lyrics. What's more a song which to accompany you when you are being left alone.

Another song particularly mention here is the 烏賊. The whole concept is COOL. A pretty new type of dance song. Giving me a new thought of mixing the instruments and effects. This song illustrate the personal thought of Joey towards on smoking. She dislike smoke, and hopefully through the song people will try to decrease the intake of smoking.

The outer cover with the inner cd housing case. I like the design of it. Although it's simple, but effective, as usually the outer will be covered whole, while the design applied here was cutting top n bottom in certain amount of degree.

The inner design isn't something shocking, just very common style of allocating the materials. A cd and a dvd at a side, while Photos and lyrics booklet, plus the freebie.

I love this photo shoot. Impressive. Easy to handle, however still the skill of snapping and posing.

Oh ya, another fundamental point to make is, the dvd is EXCELLENT. It was taken from the Moov live by JOEY b4 releasing her album. If i'm not mistaken, i mentioned i getting into Joey singing, as she sings pretty well in live, compared few years back. From d dvd, you will find the answer.

Awesome DEAL

Taken a golden chance for myself shopped till i dropped. Tat was awesome to get those buddies in tat much of price. I couldnt believe my eyes at first. Well, i wasnt dreaming, wat i c is wat i will get. Although not much Hong Kong version on crazy price, but i brought myself back 4 albums!

Hacken Lee's - My cup of Tea is 3rd album of his i ve in my entire collection. HOCC's - What really matters also d 3rd albums i ve of her's. While welcome Edmond Leung into my music world, as tat stands at first album i owned of his. Aaron Kwok's - Absolute which the album i have seeking for long. Finally got it for 10 bucks ONLY! Tats real cool.

Although they all are older releases, but the songs didn't disappointed me. Thumbs UP! I found something weird. These 4 albums titled in ENGLISH. Did you notice that? lolz

Finally, is JOEY Yung Latest chinese album, Very Busy. Will, review it in the coming post.

William Chan - Warrior 陳偉霆-戰士

First saw him was in Ah Sa's Music video. I was so jealous of him cz has chance to get close to my lover. lolz... Till d day when i was shopping in Sg Wang. Found he is on tour of his new album. The name sounds so familiar with me till then remember d MV.

Well, my 2nd thought was... OF cz GRAB THE ALBUM n GET IT SIGNED!!! Tat was my first experience queuing myself for getting d worm drawing. lolz. As previously i got it from other sources.

For me, wat i can say from this singer is another Dancing-singer from EEG, which basically shadow's from YUMIKO Cheng. When talk about Yumiko, another point to add in, He was orginally from Sun Boyz group, which appeared in Yumiko's song n mv - 大不了. Hmmm.. Now he is flying on his own.

He dance well, could compete wit me. But he far more better. In terms of singing skill, still ve to improve more. He still ve lots of space for him to get through to next stage.

Songs i particularly to mention here are, 戰士, 今天終於知道錯, M.J., 狐狸小姐.

A gd start with the Warrior, fast tempo, good beats for dancing. 今天終於知道錯, a smooth tangy catchy ballad. You ask for more. MJ, from the name u know its dedicated for The DANCING KING.

This is first CD being signed in my whole collection. Wat nice to C it! Also, am the oni person get William to sign on CD on d day. HAHA. Oni Cd collector will ask for tis (mostly)

Raymond Lam 林峰 - Let's Get Wet

First Raymond's album in my collection. Past years, i bought his first release for someone but not for myself. hmm.. a bit regret not to import 1 for myself tat time. Return here, I would highly be one of the Raymond's music lover.

Although 7 songs in this latest release, but all composed well. My first choice, also for recommendation, Track 4 如果時間來到. Smooth ballad, catchy music-lyrics. Another song in my list which worth to repeat. Just first heard of the song, the melody has sticked in.

Let's Get Wet, also the main theme for his first concert, impressed me well enough. Then again, the way he sang relatively smooth, which relatively same performance in other type of music. However, the mix of diff style create good tune.

Illusion will be my last song to share with. Same style music plunged in Let's Get Wet, whist diff singing movement.

關淑怡(Shirley Kwan) - Shirley's Era

Honestly, am unfamiliar with her. I never and won’t know her if she didn’t have this release. After I received news about her new release after 14 years, I started to search for her biography. Found, she is 1 of the oldies, who actually famous in the music world…. Hmmm.. could be saying am really up to date, those old time favorite not in my data. Lolz.

I got caught on this album as it is fabricated on its album cover, and limited edition some more. How could a music lover n fancy music cover and design lover could let it goes. Finally I got a copy of that. What I can say. She is one of the legends. Her singing is brilliant.

The first play was the dvd, as I have NO IDEA how’s her appearance is. Lolz. Dvd has 5 mvs, where 2 mvs were adapted from her recent concert. First song from the cd, 天規with a good start of catchy music as knew it gonna be something fast. Hmm, expectation didn’t fail me. 3rd song duet with Leo Ku, is well praised and recommended to all. First heard, arg, I love it very much. Its fun to listen, pleasant to enjoy and happy ending. For those who haven knows, have a go with it.

只得一次, will be my 2nd recommendation to all. Brilliant melody, you would like to have it replay on your hi fi, and never get fed up. This album recorded well known TVB movie, “zhu guang bao qi” main theme. Tango style music? Yea, the music made my body moved for the first play.

The 2 remix version, wasn’t disappoint me. They are good tune. Actually both songs are in my IPOD’s – “Shake ur Body” list. Basically it’s the list with fast tempo songs. Well, once again I never regret to own this album. Although songs like 28日, isn’t my type of music, but then a good try and collection to have it in my list.

From this pic, u r able to c the hard box was actually covered with fabric. B4 i thought it was the Chinese traditional hand craft 绣. or d same family as it is given a unique texture. Didnt expect its jz a printing. Haiz... disappointing.

Well, tis is good graphic. I myself would be praise the design more if this is fabricated, but it is on paper.

wat a BIG spent i HAD

D month jz started, n i had swipe in 4 albums. lolz. tat was real quick. well, among these, 2 albums were in my wish list for ages, n finally its mine. The other 2 albums, 1 actually is new release which i found might b a gd try since he is quite famous too. On the other hand, the last album i got was actually jz released, n got it bcz he was in KL for his tour.



As u guys know am a cd collector, n d singer is here, for sure i ll catch the opportunity to get a worm drawing. HAHA

Penny's album which stacked in cd shop for long. Finally, they are in my collection. Chao Ger latest album, with unordinary packaging design. For those who never seen it, i reckon tat gonna b turn out with fresh meat on the plastic tray. XD.

Lastly is Willam Chan latest Warior album with signature as i mentioned b4. well, getting more albums now. Unfortunately time doesnt allow me to get a snap of them n review at here.

Month of July

Hmm... its coming to an end again. Nowadays, i found time run real quick, jz clips of eyes, arg, its the next day. Stepped into working life, ntg much could i say. Baiscally same drama repeat n repeat. Kind of dull, however always facing challenging moments.

This month didnt spend much of money, at the same time i brought in 4 albums only.
愛.旅行.一公里 by 許茹芸, 幸福遇見 by 林依晨, F One by 范瑋琪 which all these are autogrpahed version, and lastly Morning by 衛蘭.

How i wish Janice album also been signed. Well, focus back my work. Will try to post any missed new albums when time allowed me. =p

Penny Tai- Forgive Me For Being The Girl I Am 戴佩妮-原諒我就是這樣的女生

First of all, ll share Penny's latest mandarin album. Basically, this is 2nd albums i have for Penny. Planning to get some of her previous releases over the weekend. Regards to this album, when i first played, wow i love the songs. If u like her style of music, i reckon u ll love this album.

As mentioned earlier post, this is autographed version. Real happy when seeing my babies being worm drawn. Looks stunning and awesome!


Looks! how beautiful it is. If my entire babies have those special worm drawing, sure gonna be a massive Collection!

The packaging design is pretty much easy and simple. jz a thin flip over, with Cd n DVD slide into the cover. A photos n lyrics booklet, and a coupon.

Would like to highlight about this album. The dvd has 2 MVs, The making of the album, and behind the scene of MV shoot for 兩難. Its quite interesting watching out how artist makes their album during the photo shoot, also those valueable footage when they are producing the MV.

To make a certain statement, i actually is a film maker student, so do actually like clips, videos....

In the 兩難 MV, there's 2 appearance of Penny, with long hair and short hair. She was the director of this MV making, where finished part of the shooting last year, where she was wit long hair, while 2nd half was produced this year which in short hair. Regards to the story of the MV, i wont reveal at here. Why? If u wan to find out, Buy the album, its a good collection.

For songs, as above, i love Track 2 d most, follow up by Track 1, and ... er.. should b saying i do like most of them except "Lafite", which sounds weird, however quite cool as never been touching these type of tune. A gd experience. Then again, Lafite this song, and some other 4 songs actually were from her 2008 EP, so total up wit new songs giving a 14 tracks.

Month of June was the month with the less albums i got. I cant believe, 3 albums total?
Yea, i have flipped over the house, found 3 albums only. Well, i guess i was too busy, yea i reckon honestly, so no time for my babies.

Well, those 3 albums are, Lam Fung-Lets Get Wet (1st version), Shirley Kwan-Shirleys Era (1st and limited edition) and Penny Tai-Forgive me for being the girl i am (with autographed).

In the coming of days, will share these albums with u.

GiGi Leung - Present 梁詠琪~禮物

Gigi, always my favourite. Since the previous New + Best in 2007, she had no new release in music. This year she brought the "Present" to us... XD. The song - Present was composed by herself. A smooth and catchy ballad. Sure u gonna love at the 1st play.


Wat else to reckon... basically is ALL.. Yup, is ALL. All of them are nice. U jz cant get out from this fantastic album. Mayb am great fans to her, thus having this feeling. Well, take a glance on this album

Joey Yung - A Time For Us

Just less than a year, she has a new surprise for fans... I am one of them. I started to fall in love on her songs. She has been improved a lot, a lot, a lot. Thumb up for her. XD. "A Time For Us" compared to "In Motion", this time, she has better ballad and juices us beautiful voice and musics. Lets give some time for us (Me n U)... hehe

The lyrics leaflet. I like the colors, d design putted on every single song, which seperated from others. Hardly can seen this, as most leaflet lyrics design will jz in few colors.

Well, this album consider outstanding album for myself. Wat do u think. I mean, not the packaging, as its grouped as simple packaging, wat i praised was the songs. Real real nice. i myself like most of the songs except track 5 and 6.

Joey fans, don miss the chance, or u may get d 2nd version which has 6 music video instead of 1 in the 1st version.

Vic Chou - Vic Chou 2001-2009 The Best Collection

Well, i knew this guy since 2001, of cz the most famous series among the Asia. haha. but then i myself not really pay attention the group F4. Reason i bought this album is, its wrapped with, can be say all d songs of his previous release. N yet in such a big size. haha, with 80 full page of photo album. In addition, i myself found he sings well too, so no doubt, get it... haha

The 80 pages... hmm sounds real cool. but then Jolin still the Champion. 416 pages still d best of all.
